There are few places in Israel where it is possible to demonstrate to students the possibilities inherent in the production of green energy from renewable sources.
The Gilboa mountain is one of these unique places.
The Gilboa combines different types of renewable energy, wind, sun, biomass (production of energy from animals – cows) and storing all of these in a pumped energy system that flows water down the mountain and produces energy from it.
