Every few years, we make a pilgrimage to Freiburg, Germany, near the Black Forest.
Every time we arrive in the city together with a group of environmentalists and good people who care about the earth, we are thrown into an almost utopian world.
Such a world dominated by bicycles and light electric trains that wander between the houses, a city and a region that produces all the energy they needs out of wind turbines and solar panels on the roofs, lives by strict environmental rules and at the same time manages to maintain a high and exciting standard of living.
