You can study in a classroom, in a lecture hall, in a laboratory, and you can also study in nature. We take our students to the forest, for a day of activity and learning about the mechanisms of the flora and fauna inherent in it. Our favorite forest is Ha’moreh forest, but in fact the activity can be held in almost any forest or grove available, such as the Ben Shemen forest or the Carmel forests.
Our activity trip/day in the forest is based on research activity. The students become detectives and the group becomes a research unit tracing the habitats of reptiles and birds, learning how they collect food and how they communicate with each other. Everything is done in a perfect order that is only known to them. Ants, lizards, seasonal flowers, pine trees.
