The Balkan cuisine, which is rich in olive oil, salty cheeses, black olives and herbs that have just been picked from the small flower bed on the balcony of the apartment in Thessaloniki, leads quite a few of our experiential tours in northern Greece. We start by visiting the local markets, learning how to carefully choose the raw materials, and from there to Marina’s private kitchen. Marina is a warm-hearted woman, who cooks Balkan dishes, in the special Thessaloniki style.
