From darkness to light – a unique menorah tour in Greece

A fascinating journey to the synagogues and communities of northern Greece during the Hanukkah holiday in all its meanings!
We will visit the city of Ioannina and its picturesque alleys, get to know and learn about the synagogues in Boria, Larisa and Trikala.
In Thessaloniki we will visit the Jewish Museum, the site of the deportation of the Jews to the ghettos during World War II and the renovated synagogue.
We will experience the Greek atmosphere and spend Shabbat with the Jewish community.
We will light Hanukkah and Shabbat candles and enjoy the local holiday customs, the unique dishes and of course the lokomods – the donuts of the Greek Jews!
